If you have never done this, I highly recommend reading through some of the comments on my petition. All you need to do is click where it says "signatures" and you can scroll through all of the pages. They are truly moving, inspirational and powerful, I have read each and every one. That is one of the things I love most about having started this petition, which is a reminder that we are all truly the same in so many ways. Our hearts and spirits are capable of so much more than we even give ourselves credit for. This is why Dr's underestimate our ability to handle a baby deemed "less than perfect" in THEIR eyes. They project onto us their inability to understand how any parent would want a baby with potential "problems" seemingly oblivious to the fact that they are perpetuating a complete lack of understanding about human nature! Please, take a few minutes to read the comments, and if you haven't done so already, sign it and pass it on. This amazing petition has brought me closer to people who would have been perfect strangers before! So many people care passionately about this issue! 717 Signatures!
